GUIDELINES FOR HEALTHY EATING

Focus on what you NEED to eat.

Eat when you are hungry, stop when you are full.

Choose "whole foods" often.

Limit and avoid dead food.

Buy organic foods whenever possible.

Eat something raw at every or most every meal.

Eat a fruit or vegetable at every meal.

Eat fruits alone.

Choose high-fiber foods several times daily.

Select low-fat foods.

Reduce or eliminate animal products.

If you eat meat or dairy, use only as a flavoring or condiment.

Use spices instead of fat, sugar, and salt to enhance the flavor of food.

Seek foods without artificial colors and flavors, chemical additives, preservatives, pesticides, hormones, or drugs.

Drink distilled water and other fluids between meals.

Chew food thoroughly.

Choose 1-3 items per meal.

Decide what you will eat.
