I have not committed enough information to memory yet on the subject of herbs
and natural/alternative health care to write an intelligent article of my own with
confidence. I do use herbs, however, and I am leaning increasingly more toward drugless
therapies and wholistic healthcare, except in instances when mainstream medicine
is clearly the best choice. I encourage everyone to be responsible for their health,
instead of behaving like cattle, being led around by the nose by the AMA, ADA, and
other such institutions. Naturopathy, including homeopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture,
massage therapy, and other natural methodologies is worth looking into, especially
when the vital health benefits can be obtained apart from [IMO/IYO] erroneous religious
philosophies that often surround them.
Do not interpret me as giving a blanket blessing to all natural therapies, nor
totally forsaking drugs and "regular" doctors. My preference is for the former,
but I do partake from the latter when clearly indicated. My suggestion is for you
to adopt a similar policy in your own life.
The following links may or may not have been thoroughly viewed by me, so I do
not necessarily agree with everything listed, and you probably won't either.
*****NOTE: Remember when taking natural products to use only as directed.
More is not always better! It is goofballs who take way too much of whatever in
the hopes of increasing benefits that makes the FDA and other beaurocratic types
want to take awesome products off the shelf and tell us what we can and cannot use
in our healthcare.
