Concentrate more on what your body needs for you to eat rather than thinking
about what you have chosen not to eat. Chances are, if you
eat what you need to eat, you won't be hungry enough for much of that other
stuff.
Example 1: Think: "I need to eat something raw at this
meal" rather than "I shouldn't have any of that chocolate cake."
Example 2: Think: "My body needs good quality fuel several
times a day" rather than "If I don't start eating less, I'll never lose
this weight."
Example 3: Think: "If I can get 8 glasses of water in today,
it will help my digestive system and every cell of my body" rather than
"I can't have Coca-Cola anymore."
