Customer Comment: rating=10: The best weight loss book ever written. This is the paperback that changed my diet and started me on the road to ultimate health. Based on the principles of Natural Hygiene, in this book the Diamonds tell you precisely how to lose all kinds of weight while also improving your health as a side effect. Sure beats those side effects the drug folks provide us with when they try to make us healthy, eh? Written in a wonderfully conversational style, Fit for Life reads like a novel while providing some of the easiest "how-to-do-it" information in the entire field of health literature. If there's a single book I'd recommend to get someone off the Standard American Diet and on to a new, healthy approach, this is the one.

NN comment: I read this book, and though I loved many of its points and have implemented a few of them, I did find the rules of food-combining restrictive to the point that I did not want to do it. G.H.

She presents us with unbiased facts that are usually covered up by the greedy "boys" of the food industry. Unlike in school when we had a brief, confusing chapter to study on nutrition, she has presented us with info we can remember, and why it affects us. Along with plenty of delicious recepies to try, she educates us with cooking tips to help improve what we're already cooking for the family. Before you eat another peice of chicken or drink another glass of milk, you must read this book!

There are no diet plans, no quick fix to losing weight and no pills involved. This book is written with Oprah's testimonials from her heart.
